
The
Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) renewed its memorandum of agreement
with the Information and Communications Technology Academy, Inc.
(iAcademy) last June 7, 2013 to officially launch the conduct of the 2nd
PSE-iAcademy Certified Securities Specialist Course (CSSC), a key
initiative of the Exchange envisioned to provide continuing education
for interested individuals and market participants.
This 136-hour certification program will comprise of fifteen (15) subject areas covering financial market theories, valuation technique and analysis, investment portfolio management, ethics, regulations, and market dynamics.
The CSSC, which currently runs in partnership with the Ateneo Center for Continuing Education, University of the Philippines Development Center for Finance, and University of Santo Tomas Center for Continuing Professional Education and Development, was chartered and developed by the PSE together with a composite team of noted academicians and market practitioners.
